Enjoy visiting Father Christmas in his magical grotto. Filled with animated scenes of Santa’s workshop,
Elves and Christmas characters, each child will meet Santa, receive a present and have a photo opportunity!

£9.50 per child

(Price includes a gift from Santa). Maximum of 4 children per group and free entry for 2 adults per group.
Adults without children are still welcome to enjoy our animated Santa Land £2 each. (No present included).
Bring a camera for a photograph opportunity with Santa and capture that magical moment forever!

How to Book


Buy on the day in the grotto

Tickets can be bought in the grotto on the day you wish to visit.
We have invested in a numbering system which means
you get a numbered ticket on arrival and then continue to browse our garden centre.
There will be a series of screens dotted around and once your number is called you can make your way to the grotto.
This system ensures a sorter queue time and gives you the freedom
to walk around whilst waiting to see Santa rather than being stuck in a long queue.

Pre-book in advance

A limited quantity of tickets (no more than 25%) can be pre-booked online using the form below.
You can pre book to see Santa a minimum of 2 days in advance.

Sorry all pre booking slots have gone.
(in store tickets will be available on the day in the grotto, please arrive early to avoid disappointment.)

You can buy tickets on the day in the grotto or you can pre book using the the booking form above (limited quantity of tickets available to pre book).

Santa will be in store from Saturday 9th November.

Tickets available are divided into 15 minute time slots. There are 3 tickets available per time slot. If your allotted time is e.g 10:00, you will enter the grotto between 10:00 and 10:15 along with the other ticket holders in that time slot. (Children will visit Santa individually or as a family not with the other ticket holders)

Your child will have an opportunity to walk thought Santa’s grotto where a magical display awaits. Santa’s polar friends will be there to entertain them while Santa’s elf brings them through to meet the man himself. Each child will be able to tell Santa all their Christmas wishes and receive a special gift.

The actual visit in Santa’s grotto will last approximately 3-5 minutes, but maybe longer during peak times.

No. Pre-booked tickets can only be booked up to 2 days before any visit. If I choose NOT to book a ticket in advance how can I obtain a ticket?

If you chose not to book in advance, it will be possible to purchase a ticket in-store on the day.

Every Child will receive a wrapped Gift.

Every child entering Santa’s grotto must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults are Free to enter the grotto. We allow a maximum of 2 adults per visit into the grotto (additional adults £2 each).

A standard booking must be made for each child. Every child entering the grotto must have a valid ticket. There will be a special gift for all ages.

Once booked a total cancellation cannot be undertaken, but it may be possible to transfer your booking to an alternative time slot (this is subject to availability). To avoid any later disappointment, we would ask that before completing the purchase of tickets you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking.

With online booking we hope to minimise your wait to see Santa. It is predicted that it should take no more than 10 mins before you enter from your allotted booked slot. (All bookings online are allocated within 30 mins time slot. There are 3 tickets every 15 mins. So if your time was 10:00, along with the other ticket holders you would get to see Santa by 10:30. Please note at peak times (weekends and weekdays after school hours) this may vary due to the high volume of people visiting the grotto.

Santa’s grotto is located inside our magical Christmas shop. Walk through our stunning displays to reach the grotto.

Please make sure you allow plenty of time to arrive before your scheduled booking slot. We recommended that you arrive in store at the Grotto entrance no later than 10 minutes before your pre-booked time slot.

Yes. Parking is FREE. Please note that during peak times our car park can be extremely busy. We ask you to consider this when planning your time of visit and allow plenty of time before you set off.

Yes, pushchairs will be allowed into Santa’s grotto.

No. We would ask that you refrain from eating and drinking whilst in the grotto.

Yes. You may take photographs during your visit throughout the store including Santa’s grotto.

The last bookable slot to see Santa is 12pm Christmas Eve.

Yes. We have customer toilets, including facilities for baby changing and are adapted for disabled use.

Yes, Santa’s Grotto is wheelchair friendly.
